Criminal defense attorney Susan Rayl opened the Indianapolis office of Smith Rayl Law Office, LLC in 2009.  From 2000 to 2009, she had her own practice, concentrating on appeals of criminal convictions, and from 1994 through 2000, she was an attorney at McClure, McClure, and Kammen, where she practiced criminal defense at both the trial and appellate levels. Ms. Rayl also clerked for criminal defense attorney Richard Kammen while she was in law school.  In her current practice, she represents defendants charged or convicted of felonies and misdemeanors at the trial and appellate levels and in proceedings for post-conviction relief.  She also assists clients with expungement of criminal records and in sentence modifications.
